Teen Gothic

So in September I will be hosting my first event ever, and it is reviving the goth nights that used to happen pretty frequently. It’s at the place I already work at and has a full sound set-up so thankfully the venue is taken care of! I am asking for advice regrading organizing an event and asking for any tips or tricks. I have decorations made, a playlist, and I am working on drink specials for the bar. I am very excited as I am a lazy goth and will get to spread my wings so to speak.( it’s bat/crow themed!) I’m a bit nervous and want to cover my bases, I want it to be a fun night for everyone!

Hello! So, I moved to California a while ago, and a friend of mine went to a goth club, he liked it and I got interested in going there.

The problem is that I am not goth at all (I did buy black clothes though). But, I am interested in the ambience, the music and just having a good time/experiencing something different.

How should I approach this? I am going on my own (my friend can't make it) and I am terrified of people singling me out or whatever.

I do love to dance though. Any tips is welcome!

I always wanted to own a leather skirt, but they're very costly in India and it's hard to find leather skirts which aren't very short. so i made myself one, completed it yesterday.

Added lace at the bottom, this lace is very different than most ones you get to see on \"gothic\" clothes, as is it Indian embroidered lace, its also way thicker and shinier than regular net lace.

Also wearing waist Chain belt that I made earlier this week. and my own \"Kali nazar\" necklace I made few weeks ago. Earrings are DIY too, also added small chain to one yo make a lip to ear piercing jewellery. and the top is thrifted :3 DIY has been an important part of me in this lonesome Goth journey in my country, it's hard to find clothes and accessories that fit stereotypical goth aesthetics. So I have been making my own wardrobe from scratch from last 6 years ^^
